In 2022, Disability Rights Ohio hosted its first-ever comedy show fundraiser in Columbus.  “Don’t Call It Standup,” a reference to some of the wheelchair comedians, and was well received. This year’s show is in Youngstown. DRO board member Matt O’Nesti will host, showcasing comedians who just also happen to have disabilities. Don’t Call It Standup is recommended for audiences 21 and older. To help end cancer as we know it for everyone, the American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay For Life of Trumbull County will be held on May 11, 2024, at St. Demetrios Community Center (3223 Atlantic Ave. NE, Warren OH 44483).

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including:

• A 5K race beginning at 9:00 a.m. Participants can register at www.gopherarun.com. All proceeds benefit Relay For Life of Trumbull County
• The Survivor Lap and opening ceremonies to begin at 11:30 a.m. with a special lunch for survivors to follow
• Festivities will include raffle baskets, entertainment, food trucks, a touch-a-truck with local first responders, and games and activities for kids.
